Services
Landscape Design – Concept Packages
Our landscape design service is the foundation of everything we do. Working with residential and commercial clients across Sydney, we develop bespoke design concepts that respond to your site, your architecture, your lifestyle, and your brief. Our designs are considered, site-specific and built to bring value.
Landscape Architecture & DA Documentation
Our team brings full landscape architecture capability to every project that requires it. Under the direction of Principal Landscape Architect Shane Kingsbury, we prepare DA packages, landscape master plans, and public domain designs for residential, commercial, and urban projects across Sydney.
Planting Design
A great garden is defined by what lives in it. Drawing on Charlie Albone’s expertise as a registered horticulturist, we create bespoke planting schemes that are beautiful, climate-resilient, and specific to your site’s microclimate, composing layers of texture, colour, and fragrance that mature beautifully over time.
Construction Documentation & Tendering
Following concept approval, our team prepares complete construction documentation, material schedules and specifications, giving contractors the precision they need to build to our standards. We manage the full tendering process, connecting clients with our curated network of trusted landscapers, fabricators, and specialist trades across Sydney.
Horticultural Consulting
Our horticultural consulting service is available to clients who require expert plant knowledge outside of a full design engagement. Whether you need guidance on an existing garden, plant selection advice for a renovation, or specialist input for a commercial project, Charlie Albone’s registered horticultural qualifications and 20+ years of hands-on expertise are available to you.
3D Rendering & Photomontages
Inspired Exteriors produces high-quality 3D renderings and photomontages that allow clients to fully visualise a design during the concept design stage. Our renderings are precise design documents as much as they are visual communication tools.
Pot Styling & Outdoor Planting Curation
The finishing details of an outdoor space matter more than most people realise. Our pot styling and outdoor planting curation service is available as a standalone engagement or as part of a full project, drawing on our team’s horticultural expertise to create outdoor compositions that are as carefully considered as the spaces they sit within.
How We Work
Our landscape design process is thorough, collaborative and highly structured around your brief from the very beginning. Every project follows a clear pathway that keeps you informed and confident at each stage. We invest time upfront in understanding exactly what you need, what your site demands, and what your investment should achieve, and nothing progresses without your full understanding and sign-off.
01 — Initial Consultation
We begin with a face-to-face meeting and a detailed site visit. This is your opportunity to share your vision, walk us through your space, and discuss your goals, budget, and timeline without pressure or agenda. We ask the right questions so that nothing is assumed and nothing is missed.
02 — Concept Design
Working from your brief and our site analysis, we develop bespoke design directions tailored to your site, your architecture, and how you want to live in your outdoor space. Concepts are presented with sufficient detail for you to understand the design intent fully and provide clear, informed feedback.
03 — Design Development & Documentation
Following concept approval, we develop the design to the level of detail required for your project, whether that includes a planting plan and materials schedule, full landscape architecture documentation, DA submission, or construction drawings and specifications.
04 — Tendering & Contractor Selection
We manage the tendering process and engage contractors from our trusted network of landscapers, fabricators, and specialist trades. Your project goes to people who build to the standard the design demands.
05 — Construction & Project Management
We remain actively involved throughout construction, attending site regularly, managing programme and quality, and maintaining clear communication at every stage until your landscape is complete and every detail is right.
Before We Design, We Listen
The first step is an initial consultation, held on site at your property for projects within the Sydney metropolitan area, or via video call for projects further afield. Sessions typically run between 1-1.5 hours depending on your site, scope, and brief, and are structured to give us a thorough understanding of your project before any design work begins.
Following the consultation, you will receive a clear written proposal and scope of works outlining the recommended design pathway, services, and fees for your project. The consultation fee is credited in full toward your design fee should you choose to proceed.
There is no ambiguity about where your project stands or what comes next. We believe the process of working with a landscape design practice should feel as considered and straightforward as the outcome we deliver.
